Denise Andrews

MorrisIts a pleasure to meet you, my name is Denise and I am the Owner of Make My Day Count, CFIC Certified, Chef by trade and mother and wife over all. For years I have been Planning, Catering and hosting Weddings and Special Events for Friends and Clients near and far. I have been in the Hospitality Industry for over a decade. I have worked at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel and have had the privilege to cook and shake hands with Tom Cruise, Wyclef, John Travolta and Bill Clinton to name a few. Planning + Decorating for Weddings are my passion and my God given talent.

The part that gets me excited at weddings, is revealing the room to the Bride and Groom. Seeing a smile on their faces, when all of their vision and details become a reality, the sounds of “you did what we asked and more” makes the planning worth it.

On the flip side of things I enjoy spending quality time with my daughter, a little shopping, having a mani and pedi,”R & R” at my favourite spa and working on creative shoots. My favourite seasons are Fall/Winter! I find it to be very romantic, Blah ha ha. My favourite flowers are Peonies and Anemones and most of all Modern & Luxurious Weddings are my fort-a!

Lana Andrews-Glasgow

Glasgow LHello there, my name is Lana and I am a Certified and Principle Planner and Coordinator for Make My Day Count. I first established that I ENJOYED planning parties, when I planned my princesses first birthday party. It lead me here, in the heart of all things Weddings and Events. The smile that lite up her face reminded me of a Bride walking down the aisle to meet her love for the first time this makes me teary -in all honesty, I am a sucker for love.

On the other hand, I enjoy taking an evening stroll along side the beach with my family, holding my hubby’s hands and sharing a dance under the stars on the boardwalk. We spend time praying together because it is important and vital in our faith and walk with God. A family that prays together, stays together.

I am a rustic chic kind of girl, I love anything old fashion and charming, seeing a barn, tent or unique space go from Drab to FAB- I LOVE that!
